On tuesday, NECA revealed their SDCC Exclusive "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Musical Mutagen Tour" 4-pack, based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle "Coming Out Of Their Shells" tour from the 90's.
The Finnish heavy metal band Hevisaurus, who are known for performing in full dinosaur costumes, heard the news and started to see what it could mean for them.
Herra Hevisaurus, the front-Tyrannosaurus Rex of the band told ToyFarce News: "When I saw that NECA was going to make figures from the Ninja Turtles tour, all I could think about was that it would be great if they continue in that path, and make an exclusive set for Hevisaurus as well! It would open the door for more costumed act to get decent figure by the talented figure-makers from NECA!"
"We already have some action figures that were made for us in the past, along with a ton of merch (CDs, DVDs, plushes, toy instruments, a movie...), but having figures made by NECA would really take us to the next level, toy-wise".
Herra Hevisaurus asked ToyFarce News to pass along this message:

A few weeks ago, Hasbro and their Transformers line shocked the world by announcing a "Collaborative" figure with Back to the Future, releasing the following teaser:
The figure has now been officially announced as a very limited release at first, before getting another release in October for those who missed it. The first release figures can already be found on eBay for $1985 from scalpers (Boo them!).
Right after that teaser was released, another teaser image started to appear on the internet, which teased a Collaborative figure with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:
This one turned out NOT to be an official picture, but a custom project from SwittCraft, not affiliated with Hasbro at all, who released the following picture a few days later:
Too bad, because a TMNT Party Van Transformer figure would have been very nice!

Today, Hot Toys revealed 4 of their exclusive figures that will be available at various comic cons (you know, the ones that were cancelled...). A re-issue of Whiplash from Iron Man 2, an 'Holographic' Iron Man Mark IV (aka 'We didn't even paint that one' version), another Stan Lee cameo figure, and yet another Spider-man with the 2099 costume variant.
ToyFarce News got the exclusive scoop that there will be a fifth figure announced very soon, the Iron Man Mark DIY!! After running out of ideas after releasing every armors in normal/battle damaged/neon tech/etc.. versions, Hot Toys has decided to let the fans decide how they will color their Iron Man 1/6 scale collectible figure. The figure will be entirely white and come with washable color markers, so you can have a do-over any time you feel like it!
Early rumors are saying that there might be a Spider-man (Spider-man DIY suit) version also planned for the future, but they first have to test if the washable color markers work on the Spider-man Negative suit figure... Many other brands released 'blank' figures in the past (Bandai, Funko Pop,...), so why not?

Whether you are hunting for a Casey Jones/Undercover Raphael or a Green Lantern/Predator 2-pack, you know how hunting for NECA 2-packs can be difficult and require years of training. Here are a few tips from professionals to help you get your coveted figures!
- WAKE UP EARLY
"The early bird gets the worm" is very real in that case, and the earlier you start your hunt, the more chances you have to find 2-packs before the scalpers/flippers!
- CHECK THE MEDIA SECTION
The NECA figures nests are generally located, in Walmarts, near the DVD/video games areas where the Funko Pops are generally gathered. Don't waste any time stopping at the toys section! (Unless of course, you are hunting something there as well).
- BOO SCALPERS/FLIPPERS
If you see scalpers buying multiple 2-packs at once (more than 3), not leaving anything for others collectors, for their own profit, boo them. Boo them loud.
- STAY HYDRATED
This is just a general advice. Drink water, it's very hot outside.

Jakks Pacific, the brand more commonly known for the awesome WWF/E figures between 1996 and 2009, and who came up with innovative playsets like the Titantron Entrance with sounds and lights, seems to have caught lightning in a bottle once again!
In 2018, the brand came up with the "Toilet Paper Blasters", a genius line of toy weapons that would use real, actual toilet paper to shoot spitballs on your enemies. 2 models came out, the "SKID SHOT", to "wipe out the competition" and the "SHEET STORM", with rapid fire spitballs. The Toilet Paper Blasters were well received, but quickly forgotten.
Enter the Covid-19, 2 years later (2020), and people started to panick and buy huge amounts of toilet paper, which became for a few weeks a rare commodity, as all supermarkets across the world were completely sold out, and all the toilet paper sections were empty. People were selling toilet paper and hand sanitizers at a higher price, it was insane! After a few weeks, when people started to realize that you cannot eat toilet paper to survive, they were left with several lifetimes supplies of toilet paper rolls, and most stores were not taking them back. But it seems that some remember him with a very different...potato head! If you look at this comparison picture, one could clearly say that his appearance has indeed changed over the last 60 years...
Over the weekend, Hasbro representatives of Mr. Potato Head have been refuting the accusations that their client has had extensive plastic surgery over the past few decades. Even Mr. Potato Head's closest friends and fans have expressed doubt about that statement: "Even just in Toy Story, you can clearly see that his face and the texture of his skin have changed from one movie to the other. That man is addicted to plastic surgery, or there isn't a snake in my boot!" said one of his co-stars who wished to remain anonymous.

In the spirit of trying to cheer up and support each other, let's all share a memory we have from Toys'R'Us. It can be a good memory, a bad one, a funny one, anything. How many of you did work in a Toys'R'Us, for example? Or how often did you go there? Let's all have a conversation and try to think about something that is now gone, and that we are missing.
I'll go first: I worked at a Toys'R'Us as a part time job during the Christmas season, over a decade ago. I started in the late afternoon, and stayed after hours until after 10pm to re-fill all the shelves that had been emptied out during the day, so that the parents...I mean... Santa Claus could come and pick up the toys for all the children. On December, 24th, which is Christmas Eve, a woman with a cart full of toys came to me and asked if we had the most popular toy from that year, which had been sold out everywhere for weeks (it was a known fact). I explained to her that we didn't have any, but that we would get some after Christmas. She then proceeded to yell at me, telling me that I just had personnaly ruined her child's Christmas, and it was my fault if the kid didn't get that toy. It was not her fault for being a crappy parent and doing all the Christmas shopping at the very last minute, no! It was my fault. To this day, it still haunts me.

What would be Star Wars without the legendary Opening Crawl? Could you imagine? The Opening Crawl is literally one of the first things you see when you're watching a Star Wars movie, even before being introduced to C-3PO, R2-D2, Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker.
After years of being omitted by Kenner and Hasbro, the Opening Crawl of "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" will finally make its action figure debut, in the form of a beautiful Black Series figure, no less! The Opening Crawl was handpicked by the CEO of Hasbro himself, who had enough to see unimportant characters like Yak face, Snaggletooth or the Gamorrean guard steal all the spotlight, while the Opening Crawl was never made into figure form.
It has been revealed to ToyFarce News that there will be 3-packs including each trilogies' Opening Crawls (one for the original trilogy, one for the prequel trilogy and one for Episode VII, VIII and IX) to be revealed as Comic Con Exclusives later this summer (which is a good move, as we can imagine the Opening Crawl of Episode VIII would become an eternal peg-warmer), but the very first one, the original one from the very first Star Wars movie, the one that started it all, will be released as a single figure. The figure will include a transparent stand, so that it can be displayed leaning backwards, for dynamic effects!
