LEGO BRICK TO BECOME THE NEW "GOLD STANDARD" !
It is no secret that today's economy is in shambles, and it is a common known fact that Lego brick sets are generally quite expensive. Several economy experts gathered last week to decide what would be the future of the economy, and they may have found an answer: the Lego brick!
Founded in 1932 in Billung, Denmark, Lego didn't start making the classic Lego bricks until 1949, and has been a staple in the toy industry ever since. Millions of children have played with Lego brick sets, and a lot of them still do as adults, as there are countless adult Lego collectors worldwide. One thing that has become an issue over the years is the ever-increasing prices of the Lego sets. One of the latest sets, the Lego Haunted House (10273) came out earlier this month, for $249,99. Some bigger sets, such as the Star Wars Death Star go for over $499, while sets like the (huge) Millenium Falcon go for $799. Some older sets can now be found for thousands of dollars.
With the economy in a really bad condition, having the Lego brick as a "gold standard" could help, strengthen the economy and turn things around. There were talks of also replacing currencies with Lego bricks, as those are worth more than the money of most countries nowadays. The economy expert at ToyFarce News will keep you updated!
