We have all heard the stories: Some say that they have seen them at the stores in person, but there is never any witness to confirm it… Some people have seen them marked ‘IN STOCK’ on Target’s website, for a mere few seconds, before being denied the purchase when checking out, because they were sold out... The G.I.Joe Classified Series Cobra Island wave is truly a paranormal phenomenon.
ToyFarce hired some of the world’s best paranormal experts to go inverstigate on Target’s website and at their stores, and it seems that even the Scooby Gang, the Winchester brothers AND the Ghostbusters wouldn’t be able to solve that one: There is a ghost in the distribution system.
“It’s a sadistic spirit that they have on their website. It will allow people to add the items in their cart, but will remove all the stocks right after, just to watch the collectors trying to order it get mad or cry. When we went to the store in person, we could see from afar a full shelf of the Cobra Island wave. It was them, for sure, 100%. When we got closer, the packaging just changed right in from of our eyes, to reveal they were actually Fortnite figures. There is something terrible going on at Target!”

MORE HASLAB RAZOR CREST STRETCH GOALS REVEALED!
During the first ever Hasbro PulseCon, Hasbro revealed their new Haslab crowfunded project, the Mandalorian’s Razor Crest, with an initial goal of 6000 backers, which was shattered within 24h.
When the first goal of 8000 backers was reached, Hasbro announced that the first stretch goal would be the addition of the escape pod, and announced the next goal would be 10,000 backers, and the next item unlocked would be none other than the Child, to go with the ship!
6,000 backers: The Escape pod was added to the Razor Crest.

As usual, ToyFarce investigated and asked some inside sources what the next stretch goals would be, and here are the reveals, exclusively for you!
15,000 backers: A pine scented spaceship-freshener, along with some fuzzy dice for the cockpit!
20,000 backers: A beskar trumpet will be added in the armory
(Yes, we’re doing inside jokes now. After the Mortal Kombat Spawn and the Haslab Sentinel, The Mandalorian now gets a trumpet too!)
30,000 backers: The Razor Crest gets some pin-up posters
(It gets lonely in space when you’re bounty hunting. Don’t judge!)
40,000 backers: The Razor Crest will get some badass musclecar flame patterns. Yep.

ToyFarce was very excited when Mondo announced they would do a sixth scale figure set of Rick and Morty, considering their other sixth scale lines (Batman the Animated Series, Masters of the Universe,…) are amazing.
Here is a look at the art box:

In typical Mondo tradition, the art box emphasizes on the ‘art’ part, and looks gorgeous. The art boxes from the Batman Animated series figures were based on the beautiful prints that Mondo usually sells out in minutes, so we could see this one ending up as a print too down the line.
Inside the box
The figures do not have a lot of articulations, which was expected (ball-jointed necks, Rick’s hands and Morty’s arms). They are made to be displayed and not really played with, anyway. There is a deluxe version which has a few extra exclusive items (2 heards, a pickle rick and a plumbus), but this is the normal version.
Out of the box !
Those figures look like they came right out of the show. They are really fun! Even with the low number of accessories heads/arms, there are still a ton of possibilities.

BYGGLEK, the very first collaboration between IKEA, the giant Swedish furniture maker, and Lego, the giant Danish toymaker, is expected to be available later this week, on October 1st 2020.
How a collaboration between the 2 has not happened before, I do not have a clue. They both basically sell a product that you have to build yourself at home, so it doesn’t make sense that they waited for 2020 to finally decide on a partnership. They could have at least made the double-decker couch from the movie!
“Introducing the new BYGGLEK collection – a set of simple storage solutions and a unique set of LEGO® bricks exclusive to IKEA, that inspire kids' imagination.”
However, it was not without some controversy! ToyFarce managed to uncover a press release that was never published that mentioned that both brands share more than just products that you have to build:
They both add a few extra pieces in every box, “just to confuse the hell out of people” !
Have you ever built an IKEA Billy or Detolf to display your collection, and once it’s all done, you are left with a handful of screws and those weird long wood thingies? Do you remember building a nice Lego Star Wars set and feeling puzzled at the end of it because there is still a dozen tiny pieces left that have nowhere to go? Well, it turns out it was all on purpose!
There is even a legend that says that if you gather all the extra pieces from all the sets, you can build the ultimate secret set that nobody knows about…

Hasbro announced the first-ever Hasbro PulseCon, “a 2-day virtual event that gives fans unprecedented access to their favorite Hasbro brands, music and entertainment”.
Last month, Hasbro announced the first-ever Hasbro PulseCon, “a 2-day virtual event that gives fans unprecedented access to their favorite Hasbro brands, music and entertainment”. Hasbro PulseCon will take place on Sept 25th and 26th on the Hasbro Pulse Youtube Channel. There will be bands like Tenacious D or Fall Out Boy.
Here are 5 things we are dying to see at the very first Hasbro PulseCon!!
5. A great introduction !
We hope that Hasbro will have prepared a nice video package to start the event, along with giving us a warm welcome as the event start. It would make us feel good!
4. An energetic staff !
Hopefully, the Hasbro crew will be as excited as we are, and really hyped-up about organizing their own Con, and it will be great to see them ecstatic during their announcements.
3. Some nice presentations !
Speaking of announcement, we hope the presentations will look great and use the same designs as the PulseCon poster, with the red, yellow and purple shadows. We can’t wait to see the content and announcements, but hopefully it doesn’t feel like a powerpoint presentation.
2. Surprise guests !
We already know about the a few of the guests (John Cena, Joe Manganiello, Ashley Eckstein, Henry Golding, Jason Reitman, and many more) and the musical acts (Tenacious D, Fall Out Boy, Lights), but we hope that there will be some surprise appearances, to keep us on our toes.
1. SOME GREAT F*CKING TOYS !
That goes without saying. With licenses such as Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers, GI Joe, Ghostbusters, Power Rangers, My Little Poney, Dungeons and Dragons, etc…, it would be pretty freaking difficult for them not to announce anything cool !

REVIEW: HASBRO’S HYPERREAL DARTH VADER
With Hasbro PulseCon 2020 happening later this week, we thought we’d revisit some older Hasbro figure.
A year ago, Hasbro released a new line of Star Wars figures called 'HYPERREAL', with the first offering being Darth Vader. There has since been a Bespin Luke Skywalker released to go with it, and recreate the battle from Empire Strikes Back.
The scale is bigger than 1:12th but smaller than 1:6th, it's right in between (so 1:9th?), around 8"/24cm. Price tag was 79$, but he can probably be found for cheaper nowadays.
The particularity of that figure is that there is a metallic skeleton inside, and it's covered with this kind of rubber around it to avoid having visible joints, as you can see on the pics.

The quality is surprisingly good for Hasbro (even if I'm not sure about the long term, the rubber might deteriorate fast, but we'll see. We’ve had this one for a year, and it still looks great) and the figure is extremely posable. And now, some poses!

It is a great figure that will compliment any Star Wars collection, even if the choice of starting another completely different scale was a bit weird. It seems that they are slowly giving up on it, though, with only 2 figures released in a year, but we will see at Hasbro PulseCon later this week (Sept 25th and 26th) what the future holds for that line.

Square Enix, the japanese brand behind countless RPG, such as the Final Fantasy video games franchise, is no stranger to the toy industry! They have been producing quality action figures for more than a decade, with their Play Arts, Play Arts Kai and Bring Arts lines. Earlier last week, it was announced that the figure from Cloud Strife from the Final Fantasy VII remake would get a version 2.0, that would be exclusive to the Tokyo Game Show 2020.
The thing is: There has already been a ton of Cloud figures.
There were Play Arts figures from the original game, then the Kingdom Hearts version, the Dissidia version, the Kingdom Hearts 2 version, the Advent Children one, the Play Arts Kai version, then the remake one, the remake deluxe edition one, the remake deluxe edition from the collector’s edition of the game one, etc… And for each of those, you can add a Sephiroth to tag along with Cloud.
ToyFarce has reached to Square Enix to ask how many Cloud figures they were still planning to release: “We will continue to produce Cloud figures until the sun explodes. When we have done many more Play Arts and Play Arts Kai Cloud figures, we will do like we did with the Final Fantasy IX figures, which is to change the scale, call them “Bring Arts”, and sell them all over again. It already worked for the many, many figures of Sora from Kingdom Hearts.”

HASBRO QUIT MAKING FIGURES FOR ‘THE MANDALORIAN’ HALFWAY THROUGH PRODUCTION TOO, AFTER HEARING RUMORS!
After hearing about the rumors that Pedro Pascal was (allegedly) difficult to work with, and (allegedly) left ‘The Mandalorian’ set halfway through filming due to issues with the creative teams (the actor (allegedly) wanted to be able to show his face more, which is definitely NOT the way), Hasbro decided to do the exact same thing and quit making ‘The Mandalorian’ in beskar armor from the Black Series line halfway through production too.

The 40th Boba Fett. Can you imagine that? They have managed to makes us buy the same Boba Fett figure 40 times! Crazy, isn't it? They even stamped the '40th' logo on the box, to show that is is the 40th. Do you remember the 100th Batman figure? Or the commemorative 300th Boba Fett figure from Hasbro, back in the days? ToyFarce remembers...
EDIT: After further inspection, it turns out it was the 40th Anniversary of the movie 'The Empire Strikes Back', and not the 40th Black Series Boba Fett... Our bad!
