MEZCO TOYZFAIR 2021 DAY 3 REVEALS/RUMORS!!

The Mezco ToyzFair 2021 event has been going strong during the weekend, with new fresh and exciting reveals every hours during saturday and sunday afternoon, with reveals of One:12 Collective figures such as The Crow, the Green Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, and the Fantastic Four, while some other reveals were…questionable (What the hell is a Grub?)

Now, ToyFarce heard that Mezco will have a few more surprises for you on Day 3, and here are a few pics of what will (most likely not) be revealed today!

MORE KRIGS!

We already have red and black, so we’re missing green, blue, yellow and pink to have a full set of Krig rangers! It’s either that, or more random “Rumble Society” close up pictures that leave us more confused!

MORE POWER RANGERS, ANY OTHER THAN FREAKING MIGHTY MORPHIN’!

Speaking of Power Rangers… So far, every brand that has acquired the “Power Rangers” license has been only producing figures from the 1993 Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers show. It’s not like there’s nearly 30 years of content, with a new design every year, right? (And that’s not counting the years of japanese Sentai before that…) There’s plenty more to pick from, and we’re hopeful Mezco will finally be the brand that does something else (which will probably not happen…). Our pick: We want Andros from Power Rangers In Space!

MORE C-LIST BATMAN VILLAINS!

Mezco already made KGBeast, so it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if they released a few more C-listers before giving us Riddler, Penguin, Man-bat, Killer Croc, or any other of the more important villains from Batman’s Rogue gallery! Our bets are on Condiment King or Kite Man!

MORE UNEXPECTED MOVIE ICONS!

Could you imagine a One:12 Collective figure of Imhotep from ‘The Mummy’? Who wouldn’t want that?

MORE CLASSIC CARTOON CHARACTERS!

We already have Popeye, so why not go all the way and release more classic cartoon characters? The Flintstones, the Jetsons, the Scooby gang, Dastardly and Muttley, bring them on!

Our pick: Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!

ONE:12 COLLECTIVE GOLDEN GIRLS 4-PACK!

They finished day 1 with a (Fantastic) 4-pack announcement, and many collectors are speculating that we will get a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 4-pack announced today, but we’re sure that Mezco has just been teasing us so we wouldn’t expect another 4-pack: The GOLDEN GIRLS! Seriously, who would expect that?

Whether those figures are announced or not, we will see very soon! It’s possible that Mezco is also keeping them for SDCC reveals later in the summer…

IRON MAN MARK DIY... WITH COLOR MARKERS ?!

Today, Hot Toys revealed 4 of their exclusive figures that will be available at various comic cons (you know, the ones that were cancelled...). A re-issue of Whiplash from Iron Man 2, an 'Holographic' Iron Man Mark IV (aka 'We didn't even paint that one' version), another Stan Lee cameo figure, and yet another Spider-man with the 2099 costume variant. 

ToyFarce News got the exclusive scoop that there will be a fifth figure announced very soon, the Iron Man Mark DIY!! After running out of ideas after releasing every armors in normal/battle damaged/neon tech/etc.. versions, Hot Toys has decided to let the fans decide how they will color their Iron Man 1/6 scale collectible figure. The figure will be entirely white and come with washable color markers, so you can have a do-over any time you feel like it!

Early rumors are saying that there might be a Spider-man (Spider-man DIY suit) version also planned for the future, but they first have to test if the washable color markers work on the Spider-man Negative suit figure... Many other brands released 'blank' figures in the past (Bandai, Funko Pop,...), so why not?

TOY FAIR 2020 TO FOCUS ONLY ON WOODEN TOYS ?!

The New York Toy Fair is just a few days away! Opening at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, February 22nd to 25th, the Toy Fair is where all the great toys coming out throughout the year are first displayed and announced, and it is always an exciting time for all toy collectors worldwide.

But this year, the Toy Association has decided to make it even more special!

There will be no Hasbro, no Mattel, no Bandai, no NECA, no Hot Toys or Sideshow Collectibles, no Medicom, no Funko, no McFarlane Toys, no DC Collectibles, no Hot Wheels, etc... 

This year, it will be ALL ABOUT WOODEN TOYS!

Brands like Janod, Maple Landmark, Brio, Hebe, Djeco, Ikea, Holtztiger, Green Tones, Grimm's Wooden Toys and many more will finally get their moment to shine!

"We have decided to do something special this year, and move on from exciting action figures, amazing detailed toys and great playability to have a Toy Fair that would be 100% focus on wooden toys." said a representative from the Toy Association. "We feel like this is what the collectors really want. We're expecting to break the record of attendance this year, with such a bold move.".
