This week, we’re looking at the toy of the year 2022, the action figure of the Hood from the villains wave of Marvel Legends from Habsro. This figure has caused quite a sensation throughout the toy community! When first announced during a Marvel Legends panel, one of the members of the Hasbro team said this is the “Angry Marvel Legends Collector” figure, which was perfect. Then, once the figure started to appear in stores, all hell broke loose. The figure has so much meme potential, collectors worldwide took hilarious pictures with it. There is also an ongoing petition, led by Sonny from the Sonny Channel on Youtube (@sonnyplayswithtoys on instagram) to get that figure nominated for the Toy of the Year awards next year. The Hood, aka Parker Robbins, was a petty thief who got his hands on the cloak of a demon which came with some powers that enabled him to become the head of a vast criminal empire. He was especially active post-Civil War and during the Dark Reign crossover events. The figure itself is what you could expect from a Marvel Legends figure nowadays. Double elbow, double knees, ab crunch, thigh swivel, 360 kickflip, double pepperoni and all the likes. The head sculpt is where all the magic is at. That angry screaming expression is just amazing. So many photo ideas!

(One of my dildoburst effects was a bit bent in the packaging, which would have had an impact on the grading and he wouldn’t have gotten a full 10/10.)
