MORE TRANSFORMERS COLLABORATIVE FIGURES TO COME ?!

A few weeks ago, Hasbro and their Transformers line shocked the world by announcing a "Collaborative" figure with Back to the Future.

BREAKING NEWS:

MORE TRANSFORMERS COLLABORATIVE FIGURES TO COME ?!

A few weeks ago, Hasbro and their Transformers line shocked the world by announcing a "Collaborative" figure with Back to the Future, releasing the following teaser:

The figure has now been officially announced as a very limited release at first, before getting another release in October for those who missed it. The first release figures can already be found on eBay for $1985 from scalpers (Boo them!).

Right after that teaser was released, another teaser image started to appear on the internet, which teased a Collaborative figure with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

This one turned out NOT to be an official picture, but a custom project from SwittCraft, not affiliated with Hasbro at all, who released the following picture a few days later:

Too bad, because a TMNT Party Van Transformer figure would have been very nice!
Now, ToyFarce News went to dig very deep in the internet and found more potential Transformers Collaborative figure rumors, and we have gathered them all here for you !

We are very excited to see more Transformers Collaborations! What are the cars that you would wish to see as a Transformer figure? Let us know in the comments!

MARVEL LEGENDS TO ANNOUNCE MOCAP SERIES!

We have found out via an anonymous source that Hasbro has already picked the line-up for their next series of Marvel Legends figures, and it will be focusing on all the Mocap (Motion Capture) version of the MCU characters!

BREAKING NEWS:

MARVEL LEGENDS TO ANNOUNCE MOCAP SERIES!

ToyFarce News has an exclusive scoop for you this week! We have found out via an anonymous source that Hasbro has already picked the line-up for their next series of Marvel Legends figures, and it will be focusing on all the Mocap (Motion Capture) version of the MCU characters

The new Marvel Legends Mocap Series will show you your heroes like you've never seen them before, introducing Iron Man, as portrayed by Robert Downey Jr wearing his Mocap suit. Spider-man will be represented by a figure of Tom Holland in his infamous motion capture gear. Rocket will look exactly like he did when the film was being shot, with Sean Gunn, James Gunn's brother, wearing a bright green spandex outfit. The fan favorite Korg will see Taika Waititi wearing his suit with a cardboard head floating over his own head. Mark Ruffalo will join them, wearing the Hulk outfit that he wore during the shooting of Avengers Endgame, and Mysterio will be a figure of Jake Gyllenhall with the same suit he wore during the movie (not sure why this one made the line-up, it does not make a lot of sense, this will definitely be the peg warmer of the series).

Each figure will include a part for the usual Build-a-Figure bonus figure, which will be none other than the main villain of the Infinity Saga, the mad titan Thanos, with Josh Brolin, as he looked like while shooting the movies.

Already announced for the second series: Don Cheadle as War Machine, and James Spader as Ultron, with the ping pong balls on a stick on top of his head.
No mention of a release date yet, but it should come right after the Marvel Legends Age of Apocalypse series that should come out in May. We will keep you updated when more info is available

HELL HAS FROZEN OVER: DC DIRECT BUYS MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES ?!

It has been a crazy week for all the comic book fans!

BREAKING NEWS:

HELL HAS FROZEN OVER:
DC DIRECT BUYS MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES ?!

It has been a crazy week for all the comic book fans. First, Dan Didio, co-publisher of DC Comics was removed from his place by Warner Bros/DC Comics. A few days later, the CEO of Disney (who owns Marvel), Bob Iger stepped down from his position. It didn't take long before rumors started to spread that Warner would try to sell DC Comics, and that Disney and Marvel might take over DC! There is even words about an eventual merging of the Big 2! Imagine Batman and Spider-Man sharing a same multiverse!

But in a plot twist that nobody saw coming, it seems that the legendary line of action figures from Hasbro, the Marvel Legends Series has been bought by DC Direct (formerly known as DC Collectibles)!

DC Direct plans to rename the line 'Marvel Essentials' to go with their 'DC Essentials' line, and plans to sell them without any accessories or extra hands, just like their DC figures. "They are called Essentials, so that is what you really get: barely the essentials to be called an action figure." said a long time DC Direct/Collectibles employee.

Additionally, they might eventually give a try to the Build-a-Figure model with their DC Essentials line, which has always been a ploy to sell people characters that nobody wants if it wasn't for that 'left leg part' from a character that people actually want. Be ready to have more extra heads, legs and torsos to throw in a drawer!

We, at ToyFarce News, sincerely hope that this rumor about a merging is true and hope that DC and Marvel will continue telling stories in comic book form until the end of times (so, in about 7-8 years.)
