BREAKING NEWS:
SCALPERS INC. WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR YOU!
Promotional consideration, paid for by the following:
“Scalpers”. “Flippers”. “Resellers”. We have heard them all. Everybody seems to have a very negative opinion of us. This is why SCALPERS INC. will try to fix that!
At SCALPERS INC., we will go ABOVE and BEYOND for you to find those action figures and toys that you really want:
ABOVE the price labelled at retail, and
BEYOND the price any normal person would pay for it.
Trust us, we will make you appreciate what we do for you. It’s not like you have a choice, anyway… The shelves at your local stores will still be empty! We only ask for that “time and energy” tax. (“Time and energy” tax explained in a previous ToyFarce article: https://www.toyfarce.com/news//2020/08/time-and-energy-new-tax-from-unassumed.html )
**ToyFarce does not share the opinions expressed by SCALPERS INC. It looks like there was a glitch in the ad campaign app, and they managed to take advantage of that. Our apologies! Now back to regular programming…

JAZWARES’ UNRIVALED SERIES 5 + HIKARU SHIDA FROM SERIES 6
It’s Wednesday, you know what that means… ToyFarce reviews!
This week, we’re having a look at the AEW Unrivaled series 5 by Jazwares (minus Jon Moxley) + Hikaru Shida from series 6! I didn’t pick the Moxley from series 5 because I already own the one from series 2, and I didn’t pick the newer Jericho, Penta, Fenix and MJF from series 6 because…well, I do not have much space left, so i’ll start to pick and choose and only get new characters that I like (Sorry, Hager).
First off, the newer Hangman figure, with updated outfit (pants instead of trunks), and a scarf over his mouth. He comes with an extra pointing hand (for the Hangman pose) and a jug and a glass, since he is an alcoholic. Yay!
SCU’s Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky come with very nice SCU jackets (even if i’m not a huge fan of those big rubbery jackets where you can’t move the arms at all). The details on them are pretty nice, with their catchphrase printed on Kaz’s back. The jackets are a bit of a pain in the @$$ (wow, such censor!) to remove and put back on, as you need to literally behead Scorpio Sky to remove his. They also come with the AEW Tag Team Champion belts. Unfortunately, they have broken up since… Too bad we didn’t get a SCU Christopher Daniels to go with them. RIP SCU :(
Jurassic Express seems to be the most toyetic ones from that wave. Those guys not only look great in real life, but their action figures are incredible. Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy both come with an extra set of hands. The fact that we can put them in their signature entrance pose (Jungle Boy on Luchasaurus’ shoulders) is freaking amazing and I’m sure I am far from being the only one who will display them like that. They’re easily the highlights of that already very good wave for me.
Series 6 Hikaru Shida is a great first figure too. Articulation and likeness are very good. The outfit looks great. She comes with the Women’s champion belt, but unfortunately, no kendo stick. It is nice to get a few of the female wrestlers from the roster, with Britt Baker also already released in the first Unmatched wave.
And now, time for fun pictures!
With 2 shows on TNT every week (Dynamite on wednesdays and Rampage on fridays), make sure to catch all the AEW superstars on your TV!

SHINY POKEMON SELECT FIGURE CAUGHT IN THE WILD?
In the video games, shiny Pokémons are very hard to find, so it makes sense that the shiny would be the chase versions!
BREAKING NEWS:
SHINY POKEMON SELECT FIGURE CAUGHT IN THE WILD?
“GOTTA CATCH’EM ALL!”
In June 2021, Jazware announced a new line of Pokémon action figure which would be 6” and have a ton of articulations. Exciting! Here is the official statement:
“With more detail, more points of articulation, and more ways to play and display than ever, this 6” Super Articulated Charizard is the perfect addition to any Pokémon trainer’s team! Every Select 6” Super Articulated figure comes with 15+ points of articulation, high levels of detail, and a Posing Arm accessory so you can pose Charizard any way you’d like! With authentic details that make this Charizard figure look like it flew right out of the Pokémon animated series, you can pose Charizard to recreate all of your favorite moments! Gotta Catch ‘Em All!™ An Officially licensed Pokémon product from Jazwares!”
Now, what we did NOT expect would be that Jazwares would pull the same trick that they use with their AEW Unrivaled action figures, and have slightly different, more limited “chase” versions for those Pokémons, which would end up being the SHINY version! In the video games, shiny Pokémons are very hard to find, so it makes sense that the shiny would be the chase versions!
I mean, it was right there! Who would think this is not a good idea? You don’t even need a new sculpt! It’s a repaint, but the kind of repaint that people wouldn’t be mad about, because it makes sense! Jazwares, I will be waiting for your people to contact me for a job! :)
Here is a cover of the theme song by the amazing band PowerGlove (who covers video games and cartoon theme songs), with Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica singing, because why not!

REVIEW: JAZWARES’ AEW UNRIVALED SERIES 4

TOYFARCE REVIEWS:
JAZWARES’ AEW UNRIVALED SERIES 4
It’s Wednesday, you know what that means… ToyFarce reviews!
This week, we’re taking a look at the AEW Unrivaled Series 4 from Jazwares/Wicked Cool Toys! Another solid wave, with 4 brand new “first time ever” figures, and 2 repeats…but what repeats! That new Kenny Omega figure is spectacular! Here’s a look at the wave in their packaging -
The new Kenny Omega figure is now one of my all-time favorite wrestling figures, not only from AEW, but in general! The likeness is spot-on! The expression, the gear, etc… Kudos to the guys at Jazwares/Wicked Cool Toys! It’s perfect. He comes with an extra set of hands.
Cody comes with an extra ‘serious’ headsculpt, in case you don’t want to display him with the goofy smile head (which I will, because…goofy smile head!). The details on his gear, belt and soft goods t-shirt are great. In that instance, this is one of those where the chase version is a bit better, since it has the Metal Gear Solid inspired logo with Cody’s dog on it, and since I am a sucker for anything MGS, I really wouldn’t mind having the variant instead.
Santana and Ortiz, aka “Proud and Powerful” (or formerly LAX in Impact) both look amazing. It’s tough to pick a favorite in that wave, because there’s so many good ones. Santana comes with an extra head (from when he feuded with Moxley and had an eye patch), extra hands, a ‘rock in a sock’ madball weapon and a puerto-rican flag. Ortiz comes with a second headsculpt (with braids), extra hands, and the ultimate weapon: LA CHANCLA (best toy accessory EVER!).
Sammy Guevara, the Spanish God comes with sunglasses, his leather jacket and a few signs saying “HIT ME UP!”, like he usually show to the camera during picture-in-picture commercials (which is a freaking clever way to still do something while the commercials are on, if you ask me!).
Last but not least, “Broken” Matt Hardy comes with his glorious Broken attire, but also with his trusted accomplice, the drone Vanguard-1, which also has a Matt Hardy hologram. You read that right, the accessory has accessories! Do the people at Jazwares have any limit??
And now, it’s time to play!
That’s it for Series 4! Series 5 will have Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, SCU’s Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky, and new versions of Jon Moxley and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page. It is already being dispatched to those who ordered it early, but this time, I had a brainfart, and forgot to pre-order it once I got my paycheck (silly me!), and now, Luchasaurus is sold out, and I’m very very sad! (I think I’ll just pick and choose from now on, since I’m starting to run low on space in that AEW ring, so I will try to get at least the SCU guys and maybe the Jurassic Express two-pack, even though I would have prefered the single version Jungle boy).
Series 6 has already been announced and will have 4 repeats (Jericho, MJF, Penta and Rey Fenix) with Jake Hager and most importantly, Hikaru Shida as new characters.

WHAT COULD IT BE? AN AEW-JAZWARES MYSTERY!

BREAKING NEWS:
WHAT COULD IT BE? AN AEW-JAZWARES MYSTERY!
Over the last week, a few mysterious listings have appeared on Amazon: several All Elite Wrestling products, but no pictures!
2 of them seem to correspond to the arrival of wave 5, but another listing lists ‘Battle packs’, as in two-packs! The other is listed as ‘Figures Stage’. Boy, we can’t wait to get some playsets. If they’re anything like the “Titantron entrance playset” from back in the days (the Jakks Pacific days), it will be really cool. We also need an updated “Trash Talking Stage”! That thing was amazing!
Dr Britt Baker DMD has been trolling Jazwares and Jeremy Padawer on Twitter, saying that there will be an entire wave of Cody Rhodes before she gets her own action figure, but could she be onto something? Do check the entire Britt Baker / Jeremy Padawer feud on Twitter, it’s very entertaining. We really hope that they’re BFF in real life, though. Jeremy even teased a two-pack with the first-ever Britt Baker figure coming with a Cody figure and her reaction was priceless.
Here are a couple of Britt’s tweets to Jeremy:
A trusted source, Ryan C., told ToyFarce that one of the Battle Packs could very much be a Cody Rhodes two-pack, coming with 2 Cody Rhodes figures: One with his normal “American Nightmare” blond hair look, and one with a suit and black hair, like he had on TV for a couple of weeks. Would you buy a Cody Rhodes double pack?
But after Britt Baker’s feud on Twitter with Jazwares, ToyFarce has a hunch that one of the next announcement could very well be what she’s hoping for: An entire Dr. Britt Baker DMD wave. A “The Doctor will see you now” wave, if you will: 6 different outfits from her biggest matches in AEW, including 2 very bloody ones. You can even have the chase versions with her entrance jacket, and the rare version with the crutches or the wheelchair she used when injured. Think about it!
We will know more once Jazwares makes the official announcements. Stay tuned!

ALL THE BRANDS NOW WANT FORTNITE TOO, BECAUSE WHY THE HELL NOT?

BREAKING NEWS:
ALL THE BRANDS NOW WANT FORTNITE TOO, BECAUSE WHY THE HELL NOT?
In case you have been living in a cave for the last few years, Fortnite is an online free-to-play multiplayer battle royale video game by Epic Games that took the gaming world by storm. Whether you’ve played it or not, you have to have at least heard of it. The characters are wacky, and very toyetic, so much so that in 2019, 2 brands were already producing toys for the franchise.
In the beginning of 2019, Jazwares started releasing multiple action figure lines: 4” figures, “Legendary” 6” figures, accessory sets, blind bags, plushes, you name it. You’ve probably seen those in your toy section.
Later in 2019, McFarlane Toys also announced that they were going to make figures for Fortnite, and out came a few waves of nice articulated action figures.
As the game grew bigger and bigger, with tons of character skins now coming from pop-culture (such as Marvel, DC, movies,…), it didn’t take long before another brand would announced the acquisition of the Fortnite franchise. A few weeks ago, Hasbro announced that they would start to produce Fortnite action figures as well, so we are now having 3 amazing brands producing toys from the same thing. What is interesting with Hasbro is that they are also partners with other franchises, such as Marvel or Star Wars, which also had skins in the games, which means that maybe someday, we could see Fortnite figures of those characters too.
ToyFarce did some digging and professional journalism…things, and it turns out that there might be more coming in the future! Brands like Mattel, Playmates, NECA, Bandai, and even Playmobil are looking into acquiring the coveted franchise. Since it seems they don’t do exclusive deals with other brands, we could now get the same character from 8 different brands!
Since they can’t all reveal what type of figures we’ll get, ToyFarce is here with some speculation!
-Mattel will produce Fortnite Basics, and Fortnite Elite figures, similar to their WWE lines. The basics will be crappy, and the Elite will be barely recognizable and only slightly better, as is tradition.
-Playmates will release a cardboard box looking like a bus, which will have 6 figures in it, like they did with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets.
-NECA will make beautiful figures with great sculpts that will require a hot bath before you can do anything with them.
-Bandai will produce Fortnite figures as part of their SH Figuarts line, so we will get the same figures we already have, but for $90, with more articulations, and they will be released 10-12 months after announcement. At least, the articulations will make them able to do all your favorite dance moves for the game!
-Playmobil would actually be the more interesting, considering the construction aspect that can also be found in the game. If Playmobil ends up making Fortnite figures for real, you heard it here first, folks!

REVIEW: JAZWARES’ AEW UNRIVALED SERIES 3!

TOYFARCE REVIEWS:
JAZWARES’ AEW UNRIVALED SERIES 3!
It’s Wednesday. You know what that means… ToyFarce Reviews!
Another great mail day, with Fedex bringing me the AEW Unrivaled Series 3, coming straight from Ringside Collectibles only a few hours ago. Pictures were taken right after opening the package! (What wouldn’t I do for the 2 people that will read that?). Let’s check them out!
First off, the new Young Bucks, with their ‘Golden Elite’ attire (which rules!). Nick’s likeness is pretty good, but Matt’s headsculpt is… close enough? I understand it’s trickier to do a screaming expression, but there’s something off with it. I personaly prefered the one from the first wave. Anyway… Be careful with the fabric part of the Bucks’ pants: There is glitter on it! It’s all over my hands and t-shirt. And the ring. And the floor.
“The Bastard” PAC looks pretty good, even if his headsculpt kinda looked like the Hellboy reboot main character at first. He comes with 2 headsculpts (normal hair, and hair all over the face) and a (plastic) steel chair.
Darby Allin is a great figure for a wrestler that had never been made into an action figure before. He comes with a skateboard, the jacked is removable, and the details on all the tattoos are spot on!
Another first time figure for the first AEW Women’s champion, Riho! (It’s actually been a while since we have seen her on TV, because of the Covid situation…). She comes with 3 alternative hands, and the Women’s Championship belt.
Last but not least, another first action figure for the hugely popular Orange Cassidy, ‘the king of Sloth style’. He comes with 3 alternative hands, his jacket and t-shirt are soft-goods (it’s one piece, the tshirt is actually just the front with velcro on one side! Ingenious!) and the top part of his pants is a rubber piece, which allows him to put his hands in his pocket. This is a great, great design feature. I’m only worried about the durability, and how it will look like in 5-10 years, but for now, it’s awesome. Amazing job, Jazwares!
And now, it’s time for wrestling pics!
AEW Unrivaled Series 3 is a decent wave from Jazwares, with 3 ‘first-time ever’ figures, along with another pair of Young Bucks and PAC (which had already been made before as an action figure by Matten when he was in WWE). It’s great to see new characters in toy form, and I cannot wait for more. Series 4 has not been shown yet, only a ‘Sammy Guevara, the Spanish God’ figure was announced by Jeremy Padawer. Crossing fingers for a Santana and Ortiz, along with other first time figures for other characters (Jurassic Express, pretty please!!). Also, a Brodie Lee figure would be a nice tribute to him.

2020: A YEAR IN REVIEW!
2020 was a rough year for a lot of us, there is no doubt about that, but actually, the toy industry ended up having a fantastic year! Lots of awesome toys were released, we had some awesome events. ToyFarce picked up a few points that made 2020…so 2020!
RETROSPECTIVE NEWS:
2020: A YEAR IN REVIEW!
HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYBODY! 2020 is over! All hail 2021! (If aliens invade earth, or Skynet takes over, someone please screenshot that first sentence as a “Well, that didn’t age well…” meme).
2020 was a rough year for a lot of us, there is no doubt about that, but actually, the toy industry ended up having a fantastic year! Lots of awesome toys were released, we had some awesome events (ToyFare, Hasbro Pulsecon, tons of virtual events… ToyFarce finally got to attend SDCC this year!!). ToyFarce picked up a few points that made 2020…so 2020!
THE RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MCFARLANE TOYS FIGURES
In January 2020, McFarlane Toys released the first wave of their newly acquired ‘DC Multiverse’ line. Now, 12 months later, we have…
49 figures. FORTY-NINE FIGURES! That includes the nice (albeit unnecessary) blue, bronze or gold repaints, and a vehicle. What other brand has ever done 49 figures on their first year? We got 12 AEW Unrivaled figures from Jazwares, we got 18 figures from Hasbro’s G.I.Joe Classified Series. Even the established lines like Hasbro’s Marvel Legends or the Mattel’s WWE line didn’t make that much figures in their early years (and do about that amount nowadays). Meanwhile, Todd McFarlane said “Hold my beer…” and released 49 figures from one single line in one year (and there’s already dozens of DC Multiverse announced for 2021). While still releasing figures from other lines, like Mortal Kombat, Anime (My Hero Academia,…) and other figures during that year, including the Kickstarter exclusive Classic Spawn, which brings us to…
THE RISE OF THE CROWDFUNDING
Crowdfunding was certainly very popular this year. Not that it wasn’t before that, there were already some awesome toys to back on Kickstarter in the past, along with Haslab’s Jabba’s Sail Barge and Transformers Unicron, but this year is when it went big. Between the HasLab Marvel Legends Sentinel, the Star Wars Vintage Collection Razor Crest, and the McFarlane Toys Kickstarter Classic Spawn, collectors spent a lot of money in crowdfunding in 2020. There were also tons of smaller scale projects that were successfully funded as well. Todd McFarlane has already mentioned that there will be more to come from his side (teasing a Medieval Spawn, when we really wanted Tremor - self-reference to a previous article!), and we all know Hasbro is going to come up with more awesome ideas for us to throw money at. And that’s only for things that won’t be found at the store…
THE COMPLETE CHAOS OF DISTRIBUTION
This year, more than ever, was a very bad year for distribution of toys. With more and more Walmart Exclusives, Target Exclusives, and the disappearance of a certain beloved toy store (We miss you, Geoffrey the Giraffe!) that could distribute those better, some toys were really hard to find this year, from a distribution perspective alone. Some states (and countries) just didn’t get some lines at all. There are people that still have never seen a NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figure, a G.I.Joe Classified series figure or an AEW Unrivaled series 1 figure from Jazwares in the wild. Some states got them, some didn’t. Someone in Maine will say “The Target next to my house had more than 12 of that *insert figure* left!” while someone in Texas will say “I have never seen a single one, and I checked all the stores in my area, driving 6h”. There is clearly an issue with distribution. And we’re only talking about distribution here… There’s another issue related to that…
REVENGE OF THE SCALPERS:
This year has been particularly lucrative for the members of the S.C.A.L.P. When it’s not a distribution issue, you can bet that it’s that other kind of issues. Some people just can’t stop themselves, and would even go to say that they’re doing the right thing, “helping up fellow collectors”, by buying the entire stock and reselling it with a huge mark-up, instead of just letting other collectors finding them themselves. Then, you add the “Time and Energy” tax (woohoo! Another self-reference to a previous article!), and somehow, the price is now double, sometimes triple. This year’s hot items were: Anything Neca TMNT-related (with the Casey Jones/Undercover Raph two-pack being one of the first to really blow up this year), the GI Joe Classified series, or any line of figures that came out in some places a few weeks before it came out in others… Some people bought Marvel Legends, DC Multiverse, WWE Elite or AEW Unrivaled series 2 figures for over $300 from a scalper, only to find them in their own supermarkets at retail a couple of month later. Remember the Marvel Legends Red Hulk? ToyFarce remembers… If people had just waited a little bit, instead of FOMO’ing… oh well.
Talking about waiting:
CORONAVIRUS, AND THE EVER-LASTING DELAYS…
The coronavirus was, of course, the major thing to blame for 2020. Tons of events were canceled worldwide, entire countries were on lockdown, and everything was delayed… Oh boy. The delays. We were hit pretty hard by those, weren’t we? And then everything came out, all at once!! Most of the toys that were supposed to come out between march and october WERE ALL RELEASED at the same time in october/november. Now, there are still some toys that were supposed to come out already that have yet to be released… Like the entire MAFEX catalog, apart from 2 or 3. Hey, Miles Morales from ‘Into the Spiderverse’ just came out, with only 6 months of delay! It seems like we’re going to have to be a bit more patient, as things will continue to be delayed for a while, until the Coronavirus situation gets under control, so we invite you to check out our article about patience from a few weeks ago > https://www.toyfarce.com/news/what-to-do-when-a-toyfarce-psa
In the meantime, while we didn’t get new new toys, we certainly did get new old toys!
WHAT’S OLD IS NEW…AGAIN!
Several brands have been surfing the ‘Retro’ wave for the last few years, but Hasbro became the king of retro in 2020. With several figures from the Marvel Legends wave using the ‘retro’ Toy Biz packaging, the Real Ghostbusters line, that looks just like the one we had when we were kids, the G.I.Joe retro line, and the Star Wars Vintage Collection (which was already ongoing), if you want to re-live your childhood by getting figures that have the same packaging as back then, Hasbro has got your back! Also, can we really call the early 90’s “Retro”?? Are we that old already? Damn…
ToyFarce would like to thank the 3 people that will read the entire thing (Hi, Erik, how you doin’?) and wish you all a glorious 2021!

TOYFARCE’S TOP 10 FUNNIEST AND WEIRDEST TOYS OF 2020!
Since everybody seems to be doing a Top 10 of the best figures of 2020, we figured ToyFarce should do one for the all the funny/weird/silly figures of this year, so here goes!
YEAR END NEWS:
TOYFARCE’S TOP 10 FUNNIEST AND WEIRDEST TOYS OF 2020!
We did it, guys! This is the last week of 2020! We have managed to survive 2020!
Since everybody seems to be doing a Top 10 of the best figures of 2020, we figured ToyFarce should do one for the all the funny/weird/silly figures of this year, so here goes! (We focused on US brands, and stayed away from Japanese toys for that list, otherwise, it would have probably been 10 Japanese products ^^)
10. BOSS FIGHT STUDIO’S SAM & MAX
Sam & Max, Freelance Police!
Sam & Max are characters from a comic book, a video game franchise, and an animated series, that parodies the crime-detective genre and American pop-culture. Finally getting action figures of the duo is amazing, thank you Boss Fight Studio, and we can’t wait to get our hands on those (unfortunately, like most items in this list, they were still in transit at time of writing, so we’ll have to wait to post our own pics and review).
9. JAZWARE’S “A LITTLE BIT OF THE BUBBLY” CHRIS JERICHO
Ooooh… A little bit of the Bubbly!
After winning the AEW World Championship belt at Double or Nothing 2019, Chris Jericho went backstage while still followed by AEW’s cameras. At some point, he saw a bottle of champagne on a table and said “Oh…a little bit of the BUBBLY!”, and the rest is history. This became a meme, which eventually became an action figure set. A meme turned into a toy. What a time to be alive!
8. MCFARLANE TOYS’ DOOM SLAYER : DOOMICORN
Rip and tear, until it is done!
Imagine you’re a demon, and you’re just going about with your day, doing demonic things, and a guy dressed like THIS shows up and slaughters all your friends, before coming for you… Now, that’s a new level of humiliation!
7. DIAMOND SELECT’S STAR TREK TNG: PICARD (FACEPALM - SDCC 2020)
*Facepalming intensifies*
Another meme turned into toy, with Jean Luc Picard’s facepalm limited edition bust. This speaks for itself. This year deserved a massive facepalm, and Picard delivered. There’s also a Riker version of it!!
6. HASBRO’S MARVEL LEGENDS DEAPOOL “PREMIUM INTERACTIVE HEAD”
The merc with a mouth…without a body!
This made the list only because of the commercial, which was completely insane. It’s Deadpool. It talks. Need I say more?
5. SUPER7’S DELUXE REN AND STIMPY
Happy happy joy joy!
From the classic wacky animated series come those 2 deluxe action figures from Super7. Alternative heads and hands, weird accessories, they have it all!
4. BANDAI’S CUP NOODLE 1/1 SCALE MODEL KIT
Hungry? Cup Noodle! Nissan!
In the history of weird model kits, we’re pretty sure nothing can top that one. The 1/1 scale Cup Noodle model kit was really fun to build, and looks amazing displayed in a kitchen, next to the real thing. Careful not to add boiling water to that one, though…
3. HASBRO’S STAR WARS BLACK SERIES HOLIDAY EDITION
A long time ago, in a Christmas holiday far, far away…
A lot of controversy came with those one, but who cares about negative opinions, those are super fun. I mean, come on… Winter porgs? Green stormtroopers? A ‘Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer’ D-0? We totally wanted those to be part of our Christmas decorations this year…
2. NECA’S TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES MUSICAL MUTAGEN TOUR (SDCC 2020)
Cowabunga, dudes!
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle line has been a very successful line for NECA, so it was not surprising that they would release some sort of set to be SDCC exclusive, but oh boy, no one saw that one coming. The turtles with their ‘Coming out of their shells tour’, complete with denim outfits, instuments, and stage. This is ‘silliness’ at its best! They’re wearing shoes!!
1. HASBRO’S G.I.JOE CLASSIFIED SERIES - FINANCIAL DIRECTOR DESTRO
Pimpin’ ain’t easy!
What else? What else could have been number 1 on a list of the funniest/weirdest/silliest toys of 2020 than the Pimp Destro himself? That figure is so absurd and loud, it’s perfect. He comes with a suitcase full of cash, sunglasses, burning dollar bills, has leopard pattern on his costume and a leopard skin as a cape. Hasbro, we want more of that !
HONORABLE MENTION: 100% SOFT TOYS’ DUMPSTER FIRE
There is no better toy to represent this year than this one. There are now several variants of it, with facemask, with lights, … and we hope to see more of it in 2021.
Here it is, folks! The ToyFarce Top 10 Funniest and Weirdest toys of 2020! Did we miss any? Would you have placed them differently? Let us know in the comments!

TOYFARCE REVIEWS:
JAZWARES’ AEW UNRIVALED SERIES 2!
Today was a great mail day! Just in time for Christmas, the AEW Unrivaled series 2 finally arrived (It was pre-ordered back in July on Ringside Collectibles), and I couldn’t wait to make a review for those, so they were taken right out of the shipper box straight to the photoshoot.
As usual, here are some packaging pictures…
Just like the first wave, those figures are pretty solid, look great (even if not as accurate as a Mattel Elite figure headsculpt for some), and show a nice step forward from Jazwares, who fixed the skin tone issues they had with the previous figures. And now, let’s #LetEmBreathe!
The purveyor of violence comes with the AEW Championship belt and his signature jacket
Hangman (and his giant feet) comes with a lasso, and an alternative hand. He does have pretty big fit. But he’s hangman. You know what they say about men with big feet… He could have included a bottle of booze, but that might not fare well in the toy section…
And now, let’s have some fun with them!
AEW Unrivaled series 2 is a great wave, and I cannot wait for the recently announced series 3 (already pre-ordered). Series 3 will have PAC, Riho, Darby Allin, a new set of Nick and Matt Jackson with different attire, and Orange Cassidy, with real hands-in-pocket action!
