This week, we're having a look at a couple of new Marvel Legends figures, the Astonishing X-Men Wolverine and the Superior Spider-man figures for the 85th anniversary of Marvel, by Hasbro. After seeing the reveals from Hasbro Pulse last week, I looked at my pile and realized I did have some Marvel Legends figures in there too, so riding the high of the Secret Wars figures reveal, I opened a Wolverine and a Spider-man figure, which would soon become my 2 favorite ones... While most people will probably either recycle the cardboard box or display the figure inside of it (MIB collectors), some collectors may be wondering “what to do with that gigantic Haslab Sentinel box?”. Here are a few ideas for you!

AN AWESOME DOG HOUSE/CAT FORT!

Don’t be fooled by the depressed look on that puppy, he’s actually very ecstatic about getting to live inside a Haslab Sentinel box!

The other cats from your neighborhood will be 100% jealous when they see your cat’s fort!

SOMETHING FOR THE KIDS!

Turn your Haslab Sentinel box into a wonderful speedy car! All you have to do is count on your kid’s imagination, and he’ll be racing in his brand new car in no time!

A car? How about an entire summer cottage? If you ordered more than one Sentinel, you can build an entire playhouse, which your kids will absolutely love!

FOR A PERSON!

Do you have annoying friends? Just put them in the box and ship them somewhere far, so you don’t have to deal with their crappy personality anymore!

Help the ones in need! Donate your Haslab Sentinel box to a homeless person so that they can feel like they live in a penthouse. You’ll feel good about doing something nice! (Also works for yourself, if your wife kicked you out after your 5 Sentinels arrived)

If you have more than 5 Haslab Sentinels, you can even build a small apartment, and rent it, to make that Haslab money back!

HASBRO TO REMOVE ALL PLASTIC FROM THEIR PACKAGING, NOW PLANNING TO SELL EMPTY BOXES!

In-box collectors, rejoice! Hasbro is planning to remove all the plastic from their packaging, including the pesky figures that usually ruins our boxes!

HASBRO TO REMOVE ALL PLASTIC FROM THEIR PACKAGING, NOW PLANNING TO SELL EMPTY BOXES!

In-box collectors, rejoice! Hasbro is planning to remove all the plastic from their packaging, including the pesky figures that usually ruins our boxes!

Brian Goldner, CEO of Hasbro, announced a while ago that they were looking into removing the plastic from their packaging, in order to create a more sustainable future (which is a really great idea! It was always a pain for those who recycle their packagings to have to separate the plastic shell, the plastic bubble,… from the cardboard!)

Last week, Yakface, one of the most trusted source about anything related to Star Wars toys, shared some pictures about a survey showing different versions of what a “plastic-less packaging” would look like (pictures below).

Now, ToyFarce did some deep undercover investigative work, and found out an amazing scoop for you: There are plans to go even further, by releasing 100% plastic-free packaging, that won’t even include the figures that are made of plastic! They will probably end up just adding a cardboard cut-out of the figure in the box, so that you still have the impression that the figure is inside (like when they announce new figures at a Toy Fair or Comic Con, and they display a cardboard cut-out picture of the figure. We’ve always wanted to have one of those!).
Finally, the in-box collectors will be able to have a collection of ONLY boxes, without anything inside to lower the value of it!
