Last year, a few days after the last Star Wars Haslab campaign for the TVC Razor Crest ship ended, the ship was completely and utterly DESTROYED in the Mandalorian TV series. They say lightning never strikes twice at the same time, right? Well…

How could we forget… (Sorry for bringing back that pain)

ToyFarce received the anonymous tip that in an upcoming coming book from Marvel Comics, supposed to come out this wednesday, Galactus will be randomly completely and utterly DESTROYED in a similar way. First we will see Galactus just standing in a big field next to some rocks, and an orange/pink laser will come out from the corner of the frame, and obliterate the Devourer of Worlds.

It is a good thing that the Rancor already met his demise in the Return of the Jedi (Spoilers!), but we would advise any remaining Rancors NOT to hang out in a big field next to some rocks when the next Haslab Star Wars campaign will be ending… We’ve been fooled twice already!

We are about 12 hours away from the end of the campaign, and ToyFarce received an anonymous tip about an extra surprise stretch goal. The source demanded to remain anonymous. (Don’t worry, @sonnyplayswithtoys from The Sonny Channel on Youtube, your secret is safe with me!). We received an encrypted email with the following pictures…

HASLAB GALACTUS STRETCH GOAL LEAKED?!

It’s Comic Con week and our collective wallets have been tombstone piledrived into oblivion, as all our favorite brands announced, revealed and released some awesome toys. One of last week’s biggest reveals (litteraly!) was the new HasLab project, Galactus, towering at 32 inches tall. The project needs 14,000 backers to be fully funded and is now closing in on 8700 backers (at time of writing). The HasLab project will end on August 30th.

Once the project is fully funded, the Marvel Legends team announced that there will, of course, be stretch goals. What could they be? A disgruntled employee sent ToyFarce the scoop! (How do all those disgruntled employees keep getting our email address??)

Once the project is fully funded, Galactus will get his bib to be able to devour planet without making a mess on his suit.

Revealed by @thegreattonino , some of the other stretch goals will be 6” figures. Can you guess who?

16,000 backers: Keep the good habits with the Intergalactic hand sanitizer! It would be a shame to catch a nasty virus from one of those planets…

18,000 backers: The Planet Menu. “I’m famished! What am I going to eat today?”

20,000 backers: The Galactus Planet Smasher Trumpet! (Running gag, had to.)

22,000 backers: After eating a planet, it’s important to do the dishes!

25,000 backers: Galactus gets his nightgown and hat, for a better, deeper slumber.

MARVEL LEGENDS TO ANNOUNCE LIFE-SIZE GALACTUS ?!

Every toy collector is familiar with Hasbro's Marvel Legends line. The Marvel Legends line started in 2002, originally produced by Toy Biz, and later by Hasbro. There is a ton of Marvel Comics or Marvel Cinematic Universe characters that were released, and it seems that there is no end to it just yet. The Marvel Legends line also introduced the Build-a-Figure concept (or BAF, for the collectors), which was a genius marketing stunt, because it made people buy the C-list characters that would have stayed as peg-warmers in the shops if not for the left arm part of the BAF character that people really want! It made people buy characters such as Jack O'Lantern, Paladin, or Beetle!

Recently, Marvel Legends started a replica line, starting with a very decent Iron Man helmet, followed by Thor's Mjolnir, Captain America's shield, Star Lord's helmet, Ant Man's helmet, Black Panther's helmet and the Infinity Gauntlet from Avengers: Infinity War, followed by the Iron Gauntlet from Avengers: Endgame. They have also extended the line to the Star Wars universe, with a series of screen accurate helmet replicas. The Marvel line was very well received and Hasbro has been planning to make more life-size replicas, and the next one is going to be... earth-shattering!

An insider source has told ToyFarce News that the next item in the line would be none other than the Devourer of Worlds, Galactus, in all it's 1:1 scale glory! The figure should measure approximatively 395 000 km (~245,450 mi), should be very accurate and look great in any collection, just like the other replicas from that line. The Galactus replica will have a light up feature in its eyes and parts of its armor, but we haven't been told yet what source of power will be needed for it (a couple of tons of enriched uranium should do the trick, though). There is no date announced yet for the release, the figure was supposed to be announced as the San Diego Comic Con which has been cancelled, but the prototype can still be seen by those with very large telescopes.

We, at ToyFarce News, hope that the Life-size Galactus replica is a success, so that other franchises can start to see bigger too! Just imagine... Life-size Megatron? Life-size Megazord? The possibilities are endless!
