Sebastian, an in-box collector who took it a bit to the extreme...
ToyFarce News:
Sebastian, thank you for having us in your home for this interview. I can see a lot of boxes in your living room...
Sebastian:
Yes.
As an in-box collector, I keep everything in the box. I have a
huge collection of Hot Toys figures, that I keep in the box. I have
never seen the figures. I've just never removed them from the box. I
keep everything protected and pristine in the box. Also, my sofa and
television are still in the cardboard boxes they came with, I have Ikea
furniture still in the cardboard boxes, my bed and bedside table, etc... This
is how I prefer it.

What started all this?
Sebastian:
When
I was a child, I didn't have a lot of toys. When I went to a friend's
home, I would see all his action figures that he played with, he had
them loose, and I thought it was wrong. The toys are supposed to be kept
in their boxes, sealed, for additional value.

How is Sebastian's every day life?
Sebastian:
I'm just like anybody else. I wake up on my bed, which is still in the plastic wrap, I turn off my alarm clock on my bedside table (still in the box). Then, I take a look at my amazing collection that is still in pristine condition in the boxes, before going on with my day. I might order a few figures during that day, knowing, of course, that i will never see them, because I will keep them MISB. I also cook my food MISB, it's the only way that I am sure to get all the nutrients from the box.

If you live near a Walmart and are lucky enough, you might have witnessed some "figure swaps", or "fig swaps", a lost art that consists on having someone (generally, a selfish, greedy a**hole) buy a figure from Walmart, go home, open it, pick whatever he wants from the package, then putting some other, cheaper, or less-wanted figure back in the package, and bringing it back to the store for a refund. The Walmart employees are generally clueless about it, and, let's be honest, are not paid enough to care.
ToyFarce News has collected a few absurd ones over the years on various Facebook groups and Instagram, and here are a few that should give you a chuckle. Oh, and if you do that... maybe, please don't?
Remember that time when the Bat-Family and KGBeast were in Star Wars? ToyFarce News remembers... Man, those crossovers are getting a bit out of hand!
The Marvel Legends figures are usually victims of figure swaps, due to the 'resealable' aspect of the packaging. Here, we can see Allen Iverson as Shang-Chi, the master of Kung Fu, and the Probe droid from Empire Strikes Back, *CRAMMED* into a Black Cat blister.
That one time when Shuri from Black Panther was the yellow power ranger. There was a crossover with the Ninja Turtles in Power Rangers in Space, so why not a crossover with T'Challa?
At least, this one is honest, saying it is missing pieces... when the entire figure and its accessories are completely missing. I know that Rhodey/War Machine has been recasted already once, but that might be too much.
Last but not least, this is just beautiful. The figure didn't even fit, and in the entire chain of people that interacted with it, nobody at any point, cared. From the idiot putting that figure back in the blister, to the cashier that refunded it, to the worker that put it back in the shelves, not a single person actually thought 'Ok, there might be something wrong'. Amazing!
ToyFarce News has reached out to Walmart to ask if there was a plan to educate their employees to recognize a fig swap, which would include a 20h training, several tests, a quick pop-culture guide to recognize characters and the franchises they belong to, etc... and Walmart simply replied " LOL, no. "
The worrying part is that some people do this for figures of pretty much the same value, replacing a figure worth $20 to a figure worth $20. If you don't have $20, but still need to get the new figures, and technically steal them from the store, you might want to review your priorities and choices in life...

Known for his role in the Toy Story movie franchise, and also our childhood, Mr. Potato Head has always been an important figure in the toy world. Everybody knows Mr. Potato Head. But it seems that some remember him with a very different...potato head! If you look at this comparison picture, one could clearly say that his appearance has indeed changed over the last 60 years...
Over the weekend, Hasbro representatives of Mr. Potato Head have been refuting the accusations that their client has had extensive plastic surgery over the past few decades. Even Mr. Potato Head's closest friends and fans have expressed doubt about that statement: "Even just in Toy Story, you can clearly see that his face and the texture of his skin have changed from one movie to the other. That man is addicted to plastic surgery, or there isn't a snake in my boot!" said one of his co-stars who wished to remain anonymous.

It is a great day for Lego collectors all around the world! After announcing the new Lego Dots earlier this year, Lego has announced that they are going to start a new venture: Lego Foods! ToyFarce News has got the exclusive scoop for you:The new sets will feature the first edible bricks and pieces, which will allow kids and adults alike to assemble their food before eating it ! The first set will be a ham sandwich, as seen on the picture. All the pieces will have the patented Lego studs, for easy assembly, and once your sandwich is ready, you can go ahead and take a bite! It will have an authentic ham sandwich flavor! A rye bread edition will also be available for the nordic countries, as well as a gluten-free edition, which will come out later.
If the first set is a success, Lego is planning to release more of those, and ToyFarce News has uncovered the line-up for you! There will be a Peanut butter & Jelly sandwich, a cheeseburger, several different breakfast options (bacon and eggs, pancakes to assemble and stack,...), as well as country-specific sets, such as sushis for Japan, tacos for South America, pizzas for Italy, or a potato for Russia!
Lego fans wordlwide will finally be able to live Lego, breathe Lego and eat Lego...literraly! No release date has been communicated at this time.
