BANDAI’S EVANGELION UNIT-01 DX TRANSPORT PLATFORM SET!

Hey, you! Do you want to “Zankoku na tenshi no teeze” with us? Come check our review of the Eva-01 Bandai model kit! This week, we’re building a Bandai model kit that is slightly more complicated than the Cup Noodle kit, with the Evangelion Unit-01 DX transport platform set!

Before anything, I’d like to mention that the man in the following video is my spirit animal:

Eva Unit-01

IT'S SHOWTIME

The AT (Absolute Terror) Field accessory is a great touch!

"LET ME IN!"

The AT Field shines differently depending on the light

The model comes with a few weapons as well (knives, assault rifle)

The articulations are ridiculous

No, seriously, the articulations are ridiculous!

This was a fun kit. No headaches, pretty straightforward, and the result is definitely mind-blowing. It took about 6-8h in total, over 2 days. I did not put the stickers right away because I suck at it and will need to focus a bit more for that. I can post extra pics when they are added!

Bandai also announced an Eva-02 version of that kit. Hopefully, they do more, because we’re gonna need them all!
