HOT TOYS ANNOUNCES DARK KNIGHT RISES PRODUCTS, S.H. FIGUARTS ANNOUNCES AVENGERS MOVIE FIGURES…WAIT, WHAT YEAR IS THIS??

2020. This entire year has felt like a decade already. Remember February? That was like 3 years ago. Yet, it seems we’re getting announcement for toys that already came out … in 2012!

This week, Hot Toys has announced their (re-)releases of the Dark Knight Rises Batman figure, along with the Bat-Pod.

Earlier last week, S.H. Figuarts announced a series of action figures from the Avengers movie. No, not Endgame, not Infinity War, not even Age of Ultron: the first Avengers movie.

At the same time, we’re getting ‘retro’ figures with packaging from the 90’s from the Marvel Legends line, Vintage Collection Star Wars action figures in the same packaging as the ones in the 80’s, Power Rangers figures from the Mighty Morphin’ show from the 90’s…

WHAT YEAR IS THIS??

Does it sound suspicious to anyone else that we are also getting ‘Back to the Future’ figures from NECA, also this year? The same year that we’re getting all those products from the past again? Doc Brown has got some explaining to do!
