BREAKING NEWS:

SEVERAL TOY BRANDS IN A BIDDING WAR TO MAKE THE TIGER KING, JOE EXOTIC ACTION FIGURES !!

During those uncertain times due to the coronavirus global pandemic, and people having to isolate and self-quarantine, one man has managed to keep the world sane and happy: The Tiger King himself, Joe Exotic. The Netflix program was released at a perfect time for people to binge watch it, and it has quickly become an all-time favorite. It is now one of the most promising IP (Intellectual property), which could lead to a lot of money for whoever manages to release merch first!

Several major toy brands are right now in a bidding war, hoping to get the license, which would lead to huge benefits:

- Hot Toys, the Hong Kong based premium one sixth scale figure maker is already working on a prototype, in order to show Joe's agent what a Hot Toys Joe Exotic figure would look like.

- Speaking of one sixth scale figures, brands like Toys Era or Lim Toys have already shown their interest in releasing a figure before asking for permission, pre-announcing their 'Big Cat King' figure (Toys Era), or 'Lion Emperor' (Lim Toys).

- Hasbro has expressed a desire to release a full wave of GI Joe based on the characters from the show. Those would be 3 3/4th inch, like they used to. There would be Joe and his crew + a few villains, like a Cobra Commander Carole Baskins.

- In terms of 7" figures, we are told that McFarlane Toys, NECA and Mezco are fighting relentlessly in order to secure Joe Exotic's brand.

-Funko will release a Joe Exotic figure, as well as several playsets (Joe & Tiger diorama, Joe in prison, Carole with septic tank + skeleton Don figure)

- According to an insider source that we will call 'Mystic Mac', it seems that FigPin already has the design for an exclusive Joe Exotic Figpin.

- We are told that Sideshow Collectibles would also be interested in a series of polystone statues representing Joe and several of his tigers.

-It is important to note that some brands, like Zach Pollard's Hands of Doom figures ( @hands_of_doom_ ) have already eleased a prototype of the figure, which is available on eBay. The auction is ending soon, so hurry if you want to get it!

As you can see on the picture, it seems that it is not a matter of 'if', but 'when' we will see a Tiger King Joe Exotic action figure.
