MULTIPLE CUSTOMERS ORDER IRON MAN MK VII, RECEIVE MK L OR MK XXXVIII...OR IS IT MK XLVIII...

It has been a first in all our years of reporting, that this happened in such a scale!
A very famous provider in the western hemisphere seems to have messed up order en masse this year. Several customers who had ordered an Iron man Mk VII ended up getting a Mk XLVIII, while some others receiced a Mk XLVI when ordering a Mk XLVII, and others got a Mk L instead of a Mk VII.
One might wonder what will happen when Mk LXXXV will come out! Will customers received a Mk LXXXV or will it be a Mk XLIX, or even a Mk VIII in the box or a Mk XXXVII? What about the battle damaged version? Will customers get the battle damaged Mk LXXXV or just receive the non battle damaged Mk LXXXV, or a battle damaged Mk III instead? What about the rare XLVII? And if you throw in the MMS numbers into it, what will happen? Will a MMS538 Mk XLIX be delivered instead of a MMS543 Mk LXXXV? What about the MMS528 Mk LXXXV? In the year Mk MMXIX, is it not possible to avoid mistakes like that?
The cause of all this trouble has been found, as the provider reported that one of their employees at the distribution center never learned to read roman numerals in school. He has now been given a course and everything should be back to normal.

The Austrian candy maker PEZ started adding character heads to their candy dispensers in 1955, and since then has become one of the most iconic and lucrative item in the candy store, with some of their most rare dispenser being sold for over $ 15,000.
Gunther started working for PEZ in 1998, and in the last decade, was more and more inspired by the Korean sculptors used by the most famous one sixth figure brands.
"I consider myself the Yulli or JC Hong of PEZ. I've always looked at their work and incorporated it into mine. My work speaks for itself. I am ready for the new challenge."
In a day and age when every collectors and fans are harder and harder to please, and love to complain about every details on a sculpt, it is refreshing to know that the future of headsculpts is in very good hands.

It's a Christmas miracle! The long awaited Predator Holiday Special that everybody loves to hate will finally be released on 4k Blu-ray, just in time for Christmas!
The Christmas classic introduced us to our favorite trophy Hunter's family, including his father Bloody, his wife Shrieka and his 2 sons, Gory and Woundy.
The Special also had appearance from Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) in a musical number with his team from the first movie, Danny Glover and Gary Busey from the sequel in a dance-off, and an exclusive cartoon that debuts the Predalien character, which will be later re-introduced in one of the spin-off movies.

HOT TOYS CANCELS JUSTICE LEAGUE SUPERMAN TO REUSE SCULPT FOR THE WITCHER FIGURES ?!

An insider scoop (by an anonymous employee who will be named B.C.) found its way to ToyFarce News headquarters to tell us this:
The giant Hong Kong figure maker Hot Toys is planning to drop all production on the long awaited Justice League Superman figure in order to use the parts, such as the headsculpts, the Man of Steel body, etc. to start developing figures for Netflix's new hit show, The Witcher.
It goes without saying that Geralt of Rivia, portrayed by Henry Cavill, bears a lot of resemblance to Zack Snyder's Superman, also portrayed by Henry Cavill.
The parts being ready, it would allow Hot Toys to release the figures from the Witcher early, as early as Q4 2022, instead of releasing the JL Superman figure in the expected timeframe (we have heard it would have been Q3 2022 for the Superman figure).

In honor of the new Star Wars movie coming out this week, here is a Star Wars related news -
The long awaited Hot Toys figure of everyone's favorite Cantina patron, Snaggletooth has been subject to controversy this week.
Indeed, the figure that was supposed to be released very soon as a tall alien wearing blue clothes turned out to be NOT movie accurate at all!
The fan favorite creature seen in the movie is actually wearing red cloth, and was portrayed by a little person!
The production of the figure was halted and the mold will be replaced with a shorter, more accurate version.
One can definitely make the link between the current situation and the same thing that happened to Kenner in 1978, making the Blue Snaggletooth figure one of the most sought-after of the vintage figure line.
We are told that the next fan-favorite figures to be announced should be either Hammerhead, or Walrus man!

HOT TOYS TO MAKE MORE DISNEY CHARACTERS?!

After the unsurprising success of the Winnie The Pooh figure from the 2018 box office hit "Christopher Robin", Hot Toys has decided to try more characters of the sort.
The first announcement should come soon, but we have an exclusive insider scoop about what the first one will be: None other than Walt Disney's mascot himself, Mickey Mouse! See announcement picture below.
The goal is to make a lot more of those, and we were told that the plan is now to prioritize those figures, so any other figures that was previously announced will be put on hold or delayed further more. They plan to release that Mickey Mouse figure before the Justice League Superman.
Other figures planned are the rest of the Winnie the Pooh gang (Tigger, Eeyore,...), Olaf from the Disney animated movie Frozen, a two-pack figure set with Chip & Dale, and a three-pack with Donald's 3 nephews!

CYBORG FIGURES REPURPOSED FOR NEON TECH IRON MAN FIGURES AND ACCESSORIES PACK!

Everyone knows that the Hot Toys Justice League Cyborg figure has been canceled. It was confirm by H. Chan to a person that met him for 4 seconds in the line for the bathroom at a Comic Con, and said it on Twitter.
What we didn't know is that the figures were nearly ready and production had not only started, but was nearly completed! Then, someone decided that it would be better to make Neon Tech Iron Man figures instead.
All the pieces that were ready for Cyborg were then repainted black and fluo and repackaged as the Exclusive Neon Tech Iron Man sets.
It was revealed that there were going to be tons of weapons and add-ons to the armor by an employee of Hot Toys on Twitter recently, and one of our reporters was told that the different parts are now known as the "Iron Man Mk50 Accessories Pack", as well as the different guns added on the Neon Tech War Machine.
A disgruntled factory worker explained that if you relive the face plate of one of the Neon Tech Iron Man, you would actually see Cyborg's face, as shown on the picture below.

An insider scoop from within one of the factories of the Hong Kong high end toy manufacturer, Hot Toys, told us that they are planning to release very soon a new line of figures called the CosTeenagers.
After the success of their CosBaby line, they have decided to try more new things, like the CosTeenagers, a slightly older versions of the CosBabies. That way, collectors will be able to buy all of their favorite characters as CosBabies, then as CosTeenagers, before buying the final version, the Movie Masterpiece (MMS) figure.
The price range will be right between the CosBabies (~35$) and the MMS figures (~250$), so around 142,5$.
The first series will of course include Iron Man and Spider-man. The second series will also include Iron Man and Spider-man, in different outfits.

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF - BOBA FETT MYTHOS DELAYED BECAUSE OF EYE INJURY.

The long-awaited Boba Fett Mythos figure, by Sideshow Collectibles, announced in July 2018, seems to have been postponed yet again. The bounty Hunter figure was first set to be released in Summer 2019.
Our team of reporters has managed to uncover the reason behind this delay: A factory worker, who was handling the prototype of the figure suffered an injury to his eye from the figure's rocket firing jet pack, in a similar incident that happened with the original 1979 Kenner figure, which was never released.
Coincidentally, the factor employee, Michael M., is actually the brother of the person who had the eye injury back in 1979, as a child. "I think we will stay away from anything related to Boba Fett from now on", said Michael. "I mean, 40 years later, who would have thought? Well, at least, now we'll have matching eye patches with my brother...", he added.
The figure will be redesigned in order to not allow the rocket to be launched.

HEAVY INFANTRY MANDALORIAN JUST BOBA FETT WITH A MAN OF STEEL BODY?!

Take this one with a grain of salt, but an insider source has informed us that the Heavy Infantry Mandalorian, announced recently by Hot Toys, is actually just unsold Boba Fett figures using a Man of Steel Superman body to make it look bulkier.
The source, who preferred to remain anonymous has told us the following "I swear, this is just a MOS body swap and a repaint. This is wh*ck".
This is why in promo pictures, we can see him mostly flying, in the same way that Superman would fly.
The gatling gun that he is holding came from a prototype of a Vulcan Raven figure, from the Metal Gear Solid franchise that was quickly abandoned by Hot Toys after being announced, in order to make more Iron Man figures.
As of writing, we have yet to find out if the source was disgruntled or not.
